enraptured by tv

So, it wasn't the rapture this weekend then.....

I was quite pleased really as I have a big selection of TV programmes recorded.
 I think that as a small pleasure in life, it is very satisfying to know that you have some really awful tv ready to watch whenever you get home from work and put your pyjamas on.
At the moment, I am particularly enjoying any unimaginatively titled real life show such as :
'America's toughest mega jail'
'World's fattest man'
'When Hamsters have psychotic breaks'
etc

In fact, if they ever did a programme called 'America's fattest inmates on Death Row who are allowed pets that subsequently attack them' I would SO series link that.

it's about learning to dance in the rain

I have an interesting relationship with inspirational quotes. Sometimes I love them and spend hours nearly buying them on framed posters or old distressed bits of wood in shabby chic shops, and at other times they make me want to vomit down myself.

However, this week, I was taken with this:

Now, I agree with the sentiment and I know I need a more consistent approach to positivity- but sometimes, around here, I feel like it's always raining and only on me.
And as for dancing? well, at best my feet may tap, twitch and shuffle but very inconsistently.
So one day, I hope, in the rain, my tap twitch shuffling feet burst into a huge puddle splashing lampost swinging routine.
Until then- anyone got an umbrella?
