Catatonic

There is a cat that lives in my street that looks a little bit like this:

And this cat, very regularly pretends to be dead.

When I drive up to my driveway after work, this cat is often lying somewhere in positions that make him look dead. He also chooses very strange places to lie, which again adds to the overall dead vibe.

 So, with the knowledge that on the day I DON'T get out of my car to check, he really will be dead,every day, I get out of the car, and go and ask him if he is alright.

 At which point, he gives an accusatory 'mew' and runs off in an over-dramatic way, as if I were doing something awful to him.

Cats.
